This is my autumn inspired look I came up with earlier this month. I’m obsessed with the Modern Renaissance eye shadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I’ve mostly done red and pink looks with it (which I love to death) so I tried using the yellows instead.
Hope you enjoy this collection of face pictures with no Photoshop (I miss you, Adobe :()
For the Eyes:
NYX Lid Lingerie in Gold Standard on the (you guessed!) → lid
Anastasia Beverly Hills MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE
- Raw Sienna, Golden Ochre and Warm Taupe on the crease and under the eyes
- Tempera under the brow bone
- A little bit of Primavera over the lid lingerie
- Vermeer as inner corner highlight
Some golden NYX Eye pencil on the waterline
KVD Trooper Eyeliner for the sloppy cat eye and KVD black eyeshadow from the shade and light eye palette under the eyes
For the lips
NYX Full Throttle in LOCKED
The Modern Renaisaince palette screams bold and warm eye looks (which are very trendy this season). It can also be used for quick everyday eyes. Haven’t stopped using the palette since the day I got it! For this look I even used the shade Vermeer as a highlighter (been using it for a while now because it’s just too convenient to have everything in the same place, haha).
I’m also trying out the NYX Lid Lingerie in the shade Gold Standard. The product is described as a “weightless eye tint with a delicate pearl finish”. It’s like a cream eyeshadow in a tube, the colours are gorgeous! I do find I need to prime my eye and set the lid lingerie with a bit of powder eyeshadow to ensure it won’t move through the day (specially the latter). However, these Lid lingerie make for the most beautiful and almost natural kiss of shine to the eyes!
BTW: I changed my eyebrow shape again to a more arched version. I love big-bold-bushy-brows, but (all those Bs, man!) I started to feel like they were closing my eyes a bit. >< I can always grow ’em out again tho.
BTW2: I dyed my hair two weeks ago, in a very autumnal colour scheme (more on that on another post, since I haven’t had the time to even take a proper photograph to the new strands :D).
Does confronting boring errands with a full face of makeup helps your day become less boring? Nope, not really. But it does look more interesting. ♥
