I´ve been drawing sparkly bats. Lots of them! I think the black paper accentuates their nightlife nature as well as all the glitter and metallic goodness of the inks. I made a timelapse video to show you the process behind these batlings.
It’s finally October and Fall is falling in place. I sat down in front the laptop with a piece of dark, chilli infused chocolate, a bit of tea and browsed for new gothic accoutrements. There’s something in the atmosphere that makes me want to splurge, perhaps and most notably the fact that the heat is slowly becoming less life threatening and clothes make sense again!
So instead of just eyeing the cyber aisles of black clad clothes by myself, I’m taking you with me. You might just fall in love with a bunch of things as well!
Back in 2014 I wrote about TOP 14 Albums of the Year 2014. It’s wild, how fast 2015 came and went. I wanted to make this post before New Years, but writing this took me longer than expected.
My tops for 2015 fluctuate from dark-wave to a ton of doom metal. Such summary can only mean one thing: it was a great year for music, as artists explored their dark sides once more!
The weather behaved nicely over the past weekend. After months of hell-fire it’s finally pouring. Hence I merrily turned on the oven I call laptop in order to blog.
This was my last outfit post from Austin, TX. Fall hadn’t really begun there, but this was nice to wear in places with air conditioner.

Ghouls, Witches, Tanzers, Poets, the Souless and the lost souls all gathered in what has become a yearly event for the dark hearted. Erique Jimenez draw us together with his gothic poetry show, songstress Jessy Bellerose presented her gothic metal tribute and the various Djs (Dj CytoxicX, Satamusic and myself) created atmospheres for dancing, angst and depression (respectively).
Here are the pictures of the event, just a glimpse of the ever growing local alternative scene of San Juan.
I remember not wanting to go. I considered the occasion a waste of my time, but mostly it was the bad music what made me gag. My friends described Prom Night as that once in a life opportunity to feel like a rockstar walking down the red carpet. While I didn’t care about these things, my friends were really looking forward to it and expected me to join them. So after refusing during all my high-school years, I accepted the challenge and tagged along at the last minute.
But, I had no idea what could I wear.
These photos are from February 2010. I never got around to publishing the set, so here they are today. Hope you like them.
The best way to conclude 2014 is by sharing my favourite albums of the year. Without further ado, prepare your ears and enjoy yourselves.
I decided to accept the challenge and participate in this month’s The Professor’s Monthly Homework Assignment. We are all talking about ‘Inspiring Songs’. So I’m going to strip down a music video for it has become a catalyst for inspiration.
I’m so delighted to showcase this beautiful corset from Corset Story with all of you today.
