It’s Monday and to celebrate the Moon, here’s lots of glitter to spice up the day.
I was inspired by the colours of moonstones. Hence the urge to add lots of glitter (and spider lashes!) I also wanted to challenge myself to use blue eye-shadow for it is the least used eye-shadow color in my collection.
This is my entry for the Anime Challenge proposed by the #NYXPRFaceAwards.
Every vote counts in order to keep playing in the next round of the NYX PR Face Awards. You can vote every 8hrs and help me stay in the competition, it’s your call! This is the link where you can vote FACE Awards.
Share this with your friends and let’s catch ’em all (the Pokemon and the Top 5 in the NYX competition)!
It’s Friday 13, my birthday (insert #gothpoints :D). Yay, for another spin around the solar system! Earth has graced the week with showering skies. Tropical May rain is the best gift!
This is an out-take from a video series I’m working on which involves wearable makeup (the video for this one was a mess but at least I have pictures!).
This look was inspired by the colours found in Venus’ (the planet) atmosphere. I’ve been feeling this warm palette lately, which matches the hotter months that are about to collide with my heart in a few days.
Glossy Nude Lips and Bed Hair.
Here’s a new addition to the characterization series I’m working on where I treat my own skin as a sketchbook.
I create characters based on my drawings and sketches by designing the make-up and styling, as well as the atmosphere in which they live. Finally I take these creatures in front of the camera, where they manifest.
From an impromptu process that I recorded for you (video below), Red was born.
Duende is an umbrella term for pixies, goblings and/or fairies in Puerto Rico. “¡Malditos duendes!” cursed an old man when things in his house disappeared out of the blue. Mischievous kids were referred to as duendes, tells my grandmother. If you got lost in the forest, duendes were to blame for luring you out of the path. There was a ludic and mysterious quality to these trickster creatures.
Halloween is a very dear season to me. Since I was five (years old) I was looking forward to the candy, the postcards, the costumes and the Unexpected Darkness. How could you not indulge?
I decided to give another try to this make-up video thing. This time I bring you a look inspired by vampy 1920’s and goth-gypsy vibes.
I had all these lovely colours laying around and since I’m always on the run, loose eyeshadows rarely get used on my daily routine. For example, imagine the application of loose minerals in a bumpy car ride.
Last month I pressed most of my mineral eye-shadow samples and today I share this personal guide on how I did it.
I finally dyed my hair. It’s a blend of blue, turquoise, lavender and titanium. Though as I write this, I’ve already changed the colour.
This is the make up look for an early birthday dinner I had with friends. This Kat Von D Poe Lipstick matched my blue hair perfectly.
