I’ve made another huge store update/restock this week, including new bookmarks and originals. I also made a video guide showcasing all the prints and stickers currently available in my shop.
I had a deep desire of visiting the Cornish graveyard in Hidalgo since I was a teenage girl. My friend had gifted me some beautiful, analog photographs he took of this graveyard and I was enthralled. Thirteen years later, I finally found myself walking through the English dead and their interesting stories.
I´ve been drawing sparkly bats. Lots of them! I think the black paper accentuates their nightlife nature as well as all the glitter and metallic goodness of the inks. I made a timelapse video to show you the process behind these batlings.
Last Saturday was Hidalgoth, a first event of its kind in Pachuca, México. It was organized by Dead Souls and was raised to celebrate the World Goth Day with diverse artistic deliveries. Of course I had to partake! It doesn´t matter where I am, I always have to join the darkside.
This is a watercolour illustration I made to be used as a bookmark. The bookmarks based on this design will be released later on.
Follow me through my process in search for inspiration. I´ll take you to Hacienda San Miguel Regla where I fall in love with the texture of ivy leaves. Check out the video below!
Say hello to my 2nd Timelapse!
Watch me cut out the whole background with an x-acto knife. A keen and vulgar solution that delivered a new dimension.
I was wandering around my patio one rainy morning and found a plant that had purple leaves and yellow dots. The visual stuck in my head and I had to use that colour palette on something.
I decided to mix various textures and colours from my garden in order to create a new plant in my face. The end result is this NYX Puerto Rico Face Awards entry, serving you with some tropical flower realness.
Remember my first encounter with Japan Candy Box? It was such a great experience for me to try all those sweets. Amazed by new and memorable flavours like the red bean hotcake! Join me as I open and taste March’s box, it’s time for a sweet showcase! Sit back and enjoy the show.
Here’s a new piece and my first time lapse video (requested by V Yari Sama on my facebook page, thanks!). I experimented with a new (to me) thing and went with the flow mixing ink into the watercolours.
